Detroit Lions to raise season ticket prices

Detroit Lions season ticket holders have received notice of a “modest price increase” with their ticket renewal notices.

They were assured that in addition to the team’s commitment “to keeping our best players, we look forward to adding to an already talented, tough and resilient group.’’

Sounds like another hint that the team will re-sign Ndamukong Suh, definitely one of the best players. Team president Tom Lewand said on Sunday there is a  “very, very good chance” they will re-sign Suh soon.

The Lions were 7-1 at Ford Field in 2014.

For 2014, season ticket prices increased an average of 8.2 percent. The average 2014 season ticket price was $83.36 per game.
