Detroit Lions: No Reggie Bush, Louis Delmas at practice; Nick Fairley returns

ALLEN PARK — Three starters were among the five injured players who sat out practice today (Wednesday).

Reggie Bush, who hurt his knee in the second quarter Sunday, was not on the field. Coach Jim Schwartz said on Monday that it is not a long-term injury.

Also no sign of safety Louis Delmas, who has a lingering knee issue. Delmas was able to practice last week on Wednesday and Thursday.

Right tackle Jason Fox, who missed Sunday’s game with a groin injury, did not work.

Nick Fairley, who missed Sunday’s game with a shoulder injury, was back on the field in a limited capacity.

Also there was no sign of wide receiver Patrick Edwards, who hurt his ankle Sunday.
Safety Don Carey, who missed Sunday’s game with a hamstring injury, also didn’t practice.

Ryan Broyles was out on the field early running along the sidelines prior to practice.
If Edwards can’t go there’s a chance Broyles, who is coming off ACL surgery, will be activated for the first time this season.
