ALLEN PARK -- Just a week ago, 19 Lions were held out of practice. Today (Thursday) that number was down to one.

Quarterback Shaun Hill (broken forearm) was the only Lion not participating in the early drills that are open to the media.

Running back Jahvid Best (turf toe) and MLB DeAndre Levy (ankle) were back at it which is a good sign that they will play on Sunday vs. Redskins at Ford Field.

Also, the Lions confirmed that they claimed CB Brandon McDonald off waivers. He practiced wearing No. 33. He will add depth to the cornerback position.
