Foote in; inactives listed

MINNEAPOLIS — The good news for the Lions is that linebacker Larry Foote will start today against the Vikings. Foote had been hampered by a knee injury throughout the week.

As expected rookie DeAndre Levy will start for middle linebacker Ernie Sims (hamstring).

Other inactives for today are: DE Cliff Avril, DT Landon Cohen, CB Anthony Henry, RB Aaron Brown, T Ephraim Salaam and G Daniel Loper.

You've done this in two posts now. Levy is on the depth chart at MLB but when he plays for Sims he takes Sims spot at OLB. As long as Foote is playing he plays MLB.
